Both artists were born in the late 80’s in Poland and began working together after meeting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. Their upbringing and cultural background has had a significant impact on their creative output. One of the striking qualities of their work ( and there are many ) is the use of
traditional Eastern European folklore and mysticism, seamlessly blended together with surreal, humouristic subjects. Another distinctive feature is the sheer size of their work, executed in both a photo realistic and cartoonish style. Sainer and Bezt create murals on the blank walls of buildings as tall as ten stories, and the effect is truly breath-taking.
The duo’s artwork can be seen forming the backdrop of urban cityscapes as well as in smaller scale in exhibition spaces worldwide, incuding Norway, Bulgaria, Germany, Austria, Russia, Portugal, Belgium and recently even in the U.S.
